Bentley hardly ever barks except when he's excited to go for a ride in the car, he goes nuts! He's my wild child
But he never meets a stranger!
Bitsy, on the other hand, is very very timid and very calm, EXCEPT when she sees strangers! My husband just took her and bentley for a walk down our street, she broke out of her harness and darted towards some neighbors strolling their BABY! When she barks like that you'd think she was about to take a limb off and I'm not kidding. It's SOOOO embarassing! People don't believe me when I tell them she's sweet and wouldn't hurt a flea. But her bark sounds ferocious!!!
We were at Petsmart yesterday and the lady that works there came up to our buggy with the dogs in it and was commenting on how good they were. I held my breath hoping she would go on about her business, but she didn't
No sooner than she got the words out of her mouth, "She (Bitsy) is so calm and well behaved", Bitsy let out a bark and I thought the woman was going to pee her pants. Everybody was looking
I don't know why she does this because with us she is the perfect little lady!
