While garlic also contains the toxic ingredient thiosulphate (like onions), it seems that garlic is less toxic and large amounts would need to be eaten to cause illness.
I just took a look at the ingredients and they sound great to me. Their website didn't have an actual list of all the ingredients, but what I saw looked very good. I would not be concerned about the garlic. In fact, I think I will give Nutro Ultra a try. I have been feeding Eukanuba for years and they love it and do very well on it, but with all the bad publicity about Iams and dog testing I have thought about changing to something else. |
