I had to take my pup to the vet within 3 days for her health guarantee to be valid... You might want to check with the breeder to see if she has a similar condition.
Depending on how busy your vet is, you might want to make an appointment ahead of time. (I normally have to wait a day or two to get an evening appointment)...
She should also give you a record of his dewormings and vaccinations. Bring this to your first vet appointment. They'll take a look at it and determine what vaccinations your pup still needs and when they should be administered.
Drs. Foster & Smith has a sample vaccination schedule you can check out. They mention lepto should be given with one of the combination vaccines though. Be sure any combo vaccines your vet gives doesn't have it... It's bad for small dog and has been connected to a number of deaths, but your vet
should know that already!
