I think it is the scent of the owner that attracts them to things like retainers. My son wears hearing aides and Bonnie has chewed up 2 of them
The audiologist says she sees it all the time and she thinks it is the scent. I haven't had much trouble with her chewing...except of course tissues and
very expensive hearing aides!!
