Margaret, there is ABSOLUTELY NO doubt about it. Jill will ALWAYS remember you. Your scent is permanently glued to the part of her that loves. Dogs are very loyal to their pack and that is YOU ....Please remember, they have GREAT memories especially where scent is involved and Jill will also remember that wonderful person who is responsible for her being brought into this world..... but remember, YOU ARE HER WORLD and she will never ever forget you.
You will be suffering more than both Jack and Jill put together. And I tell you, when you get home, there will be GREAT REJOICING and you can pet and spoil them to pieces to help you get over your guilt.
