Yes, I suggest letting him out before he sleeps for the night, even if he is asleep. Throughout the day, try to let him out every hour or so and see if he needs to go. If he jingles the door wanting to go, and DOES, praise him lavishly. It's good if he can associate jingling with needing to pee, but he needs to know that you will get him and let him pee when he jingles.
