You can call the credit card company and tell them you would like to dispute the charge from the particular site/store. They will send you out a form and make a note. In the meantime they will temporarily give you a credit for the amount while they investigate. Then they will contact the merchant and work on the situation. You can contact paypal and do the same thing.
