I wanted to add that I am not a purebred/paper snob. Stewie is the first papered dog I've owned. I've rescued all the other dogs I've had. I just think that if you're paying for a purebred dog, you should be guaranteed that they're purebred - and AKC is the only registry that really cares whether or not the dog is really what the breeder says they are...
