Hi, Princess is AKC, but to me it really wouldn't matter. I think it's only really important if you are going to be Breeding. The most important thing of all is to make sure you have a healthy happy pup. Princess and Mandy are both AKC, but Poncho is not papered at all. We saved him from a backyard breeder. I do know if you want to get the family history of your furbaby it is easy to do with AKC. Best of luck to you.
