It is my assumption that you would not be breeding this dog if it were a female and maybe so for a male. If that is the case, for a female, it is highly possible to purchase a female yorkie, that is unregistered here in WA for under $1,000. I have actually seen breeders go as low as $700 for a female that is not registered.

Registered AKC males usually go for $800-1,000 and registered females starting at $1,200 - $3,500. Just a thought.
