No way she looks like a rat! Next time someone says something like that ask them when is he last time they had their eyes checked! He obviously has a vision problem! Or just look them in the eye and say "If you can't say something nice, I would rather you not say anything at all."
My own mother in law who lives next door and comes over all the time used to say to Oscar "You are one ugly dog!" Then she would say to me "He is so ugly!" I will admit, she hurt my feelings and you know what, I told her she hurt my feelings and that if she could not say something nice about him to keep her mouth shut. For awile when she would come over I would put Oscar in his crate. She finally quit talking like that about him. It was just plain rude and some people can just be that way. |
