Is there a better way to do this? Is there something I can give her to calm her down a bit before hand (I was thinking maybe Rescue Remedy)? I groom her myself with a good pair of hair shears and she sits reasonably well for that. I'm open to any and all suggestions........
get a pair of doggie nail clippers. They work much better then human nail clippers. You need to get her used to having her feet handled so start off by massaging and playing with her feet whenever you guys are just sitting on the couch watching tv. after she gets use to this you can add the nail clippers to the picture and do like a foot a day. if she still fights you you can always wrap her up in a towel borrito so she can't hurt you or herself. squirming is a good way to clip a nail too short
