Believe it or not, but I had one vet (years ago) that said not to pluck the hairs out - crazy, huh? Anyway, we have always done this (or the groomer).

You can buy the powder (we buy from a local vet/farm store) and it will last forever. You can even use your finger nail (pinky or small finger) or pinch the hair with her fingers to get some out. You don't get much this way, but it works. The groomer showed me how to barely scrape (not leaving a mark or causing pain - Mojo never flinches) the hair with your finger nail and it comes out - WOW!

She uses tweezers mainly, as do I, and we always just grab a few at a time. We don't always use the powder either, don't know why, just depends I guess. We do this often and especially on bath day. I was always afraid of doing this and never realized it didn't hurt them - I think that would hurt, but my husband doesn't let me try on his stray ear hairs! hee,hee
