Unless you neuter him will keep humping, and even that does not guarantee that he will stop. Females come into heat and are in heat for around 21 days, males once they mature stay the way they are, sorry to say that he won't stop like a female does, your only chance is to neuter him or like someone said give him a stuffed animal. Its one of the downfalls of owning a male dog.
