Some very basic training is in order. Open your front door, block him from running out of it, make him sit, make sure you walk out of the door first, then tell him to come. You probably should start out doing this with a leash. Just don't let him run out a door before you and make him sit and prefereably lay before he is allowed to go out of it at all. My dog will sit down when me or my wife opens any door, and she won't come out of that door unless we tell her to "come." This is how we did it and it worked pretty quickly too.
