The pregnant bitch's teats will swell during the last few days, preparing her to nurse her pups. My dogs always became restless during the last 12 hours, before whelping, but I had big dogs. Not sure how small dogs do!
The mixes are DARLING and I am a big fan of outcrosses since I have a Dachshund/Poodle outcross, and I've never had a smarter, healthier dog.
