I agree with YorkieRose. Any reputable, responsible breeder deals directly with the buyer on all levels. An initial interview between the breeder and buyer will reveal a lot. I know at the end of that interview whether or not the person is the right one for my baby. My hubby has tried to be impartiel and suggest I have the person over for a face-to-face meeting. Okay, I did that and still didn't like them. I have sent a number of people packing without a uppy over the years. In some instances, I have helped them find a puppy from another breeder who does not have the same philosophies as I..I have never shipped ..I would be way too sad to take one of my babies to the sirport and send them on their way. I like to get pics of my baby and its new owner as they are ready to leave..
What I am saying is, if either party cannot trust the other, they should not deal with each other. JMHO
