Just imagine what the Roman Empire could have accomplished if they had duct tape. Think how much time they could have saved mending their toga's, and attaching spear points to sticks, fixing the rear veiw mirror on their chariots, repairing broken sandal straps, attaching those fuzzy feathers to their helmets, patching gouges in their shields after a battle, wrapping the handle of their swords for a better grip, not to mention tying up prisoners and torturing them by ripping the hair out of their arms.
