I dont know. I think it would be depend on the weight of the puppy. I would give it to a puppy smaller than 2.5lbs and 4 months. If you give a half a tablet it should be OK. Brody weights just at 3lbs and doesnt have any problems. We started giving them to him at 2.5lbs and had no problems. But that is my dog. I will have to leave that to your judgement. Sorry!
