I agree with Tammy. I, too, live in Virginia (Richmond) and found my CKC male, purebred yorkie for $650 and am getting my female, Dixie, whom is AKC, purebred yorkie, for $800.

I'm pretty sure you can find a purebred Yorkie here in Virginia in your price range. I'm sooo not saying that there is anything wrong with yorkie mixes everyone!! I just posted because she said she was really looking for a purebred yorkie! Nobody get upset please!!
