I asked my vet about this once and he said that once they are trained to the pee pads then start moving itcloser to the door you want them going out. Just moving a little at a time then when you get to the door put part of the pad under the door until there isnt' enough to go on then she'll be looking for the pad and let you know she needs it. You may have to use the pad outside a until she gets the idea down. worked with my mastiff and basset hound but my yorkie is still working on not napping on the pee pads.
