Ours sit quietly for everything now, but they sure didn't when they were pups. I think it just takes time and repetition. I always rewarded them with a treat as soon as I was done. Now when Petey sees me bath one of the others, he gets excited and can't wait for his turn.

We use the kitchen sink with warm water for bath, and a grooming table with an arm for everything else. That way you can make sure they stay put while your working on them. We do bath every Saturday during warm weather, and every two weeks in winter. Mine finally got used to the dryer also, they just sit there and let me do everything. The only thing Petey gives me trouble with is his back nails, I can do the front ones fine, but he pulls his back feet away when I try to cut.

We got most of our grooming tools/table from Petedge.com. Good luck on your grooming, don't give up it gets easier.

Here is a pic of Petey just sitting on the table waiting.
