Any tips on decreasing/stopping this?
Just don't give in to them...keep doing it.

I always give mine a special treat while grooming if they behave. Peanut butter I never give it to them unless it is grooming time. For the most part Remmy was terrible to groom...he would snap at the clippers. I just give him a firm "no" and he was great the rest of the time he stayed still.

Chance is still a pup and I try to keep him grooming time to a min. I bath him one day and cut his hair and nails and ect another. As not to do to much at one time. Brushing we do right before bedtime and I ususally give him something to chew on as I brush.

Remmy is the whinner at bath time. He whines like a big baby. Chance has never made a sound when I bath him and he stays so still. With Remmy I was making the mistake of bathing him in my bathtub. That gave him to much room to move around and so I was like chasing him to stay still. I started to bath him in the sink and that has made a world of difference because he can't move. Not enough room.
