acepromazine is a really safe drug to take and you can always break it into smaller pieces if you think what they vet gave you is too much for your dog. the first time you are going to give the meds its always recommend to try it at home a couple days before with the recommended dose so you can see what it does. If it makes him too sleepy then you can cut it in half. I've never had someone say their dog had a problem on it. drammamine is for nausea and you can give him the people version in a much lower dose (ask the vet) if he has car sickness or you think he'll get nauseous on the plane |
