I just went through this last week. As a matter of fact, I posted this question to this site. My Desi had a lump on her neck which we discovered one week after she receive her rabies shot in that general area. I began to panic, its was Saturday night and I wouldn't be able to reach my Vet until Monday. It was a horrible weekend worrying about that lump. The members here told me they had, in fact, seen this before and I felt a little better. On Monday I called the Vet, she told me not to worry and to wait about 3 days and it should go down, she said if it doesn't go down to come in to see her .. sure enough it went down. If I were you, I would still call the Vet, just in case, but it seems this can happen when they get a shot in that area.
