My Lucy doesn't do it, but my mom's yorkie Rocky does it all the time. We also call it his sleepy meter. Because the more tired he gets, the longer it hangs out. Rocky has a really long tounge so I think it just doesn't fit in his mouth, so that's why he hangs it out all the time....LOL
