Rain or snow never really seemed to phase mine, he would poke along like every other day.. If Its pouring down rain, I tried to keep the umbrella over him,and he would be a little quicker. But now I have a fenced yard,and I notice him under the porch when it's raining, but he'll go out and do his business. Good Luck.
