Lexie is an only puppy and I am very happy with that decision. I think a lot of it depends not only on you and how YOU feel about it, but also how your other dog feels. I know Lexie can be quite jealous and I myself would feel almost guilty trying to split my attention between two. I personally like the fact that I can spoil and lavash ALL my attention on her.
I just wanted to offer another side to this equation. I don't think you can go wrong either way! Good luck with your decision.
