Even though humping isn't always a sexual act --- it certainly can be one.
And - personally - on these occasions, I'd call it masturbation. Call it what it is!!!
Anyway - bleeding from the penis can be caused by a number of different things. An injury as you mentioned could certainly be the cause. Inflammations and infections can also cause bleeding.
Wait a day or two - it if completely stops, I wouldn't worry about it. But, if it continues, then unfortunately a trip to the vet is probably in order.
