I know what you mean about hot air
I have a friend who has an inflatable pool and her dog is fine with it. These pools are made with very durable material. They also come with several "patches" to stick on little holes/scratches. Plus, they're so inexpensive that I wouldn't be upset if something happened to them -- it's not like I'm spending $200 on a pool.
