Baxter is gorgeous, you are so lucky and I am sure he feels the same way. Sounds like your mom is already warming up to him, she be attached in no time. Good thing she is letting you keep him to "yorkie sit" otherwise you might have a conflict. I don't know what I would do if I could not keep my furbabies. As for the bed thing, yorkies are small and several have broken a leg or worse from jumping on and off a high bed, so I would not say your being an overprotective parent, just a good one!! Glad things are going so well!!!
