Congratulations! Baxter is very pretty! Have you taken him to a vet to see if he is microchipped? Since she didn't know anything about him I just wonder if he could be stolen? For your sake I certainly hope not but I'm sure you would feel better knowing that he doesn't have a family that is heartbroken missing him!
Now that I've been such a downer, let me just say that I hope everything works out and I know you will enjoy him! I think that it is wonderful that you rescued him from that cage, and most likely he came from a puppy mill and he deserves the wonderful home that you are giving him! What did your Mom say about him? Be careful
or she will fall in love with him and not want you to take him to school!
