I figured that she thought we were in some kind of danger. I have never heard her bark so frantically. I would tell her it's ok and hold her in my arms while I was in the water and she was still doing it. She wasn't doing it as much when I was just swimming quietly on my own, but when there was a lot of splashing going on she got nervous, so I took her upstairs. She was barking so much I thought she was going to bite my nephew to keep him from jumping into the pool
even though she's never bitten anyone or anything. I just wanted her to calm down a bit..lol...I considered just putting her in the water to let her swim and enjoy the water with us, but I didn't want to traumatize her in her fragile state
