Everyone always says that they will eventually outgrow it. Reagan only does it when my sister comes over, just my sister no one else. The last time my sister was over was around the beginning of the year and Reagan was a year old last Oct. I think my sister just does something to dogs though b/c I used to babysit for this family that had a dog and I never had problems out of him well she comess over one time and he starts humping her leg. And now my dog pees everytime she sees her, I don't know.
Anyway I've always heard that they do grow out of it, its just a puppy getting excited, don't know around what age though.
One thing that you might be able to try is try to have everyone ignore him when he's most exicted. If its when they first get there have them ignore him for about 5-10 minutes. If its when they first sit down on the couch have them wait until he calms down a bit to pet/play with him. I don't know but it may be worth a shot.
