i have one for my cat but it doesn't go outside. It leads from my room to the laundry room (where his box is) so i don't have to keep the door open all the time. my room and the laundry room are in the basement so if i keep that door open it will be cold. no problems with it. and it has a divider that can be slid in so it can't be used.
