I hope I describe this right.... first... do NOT use scotch tape. I actually use... and nobody laugh... but I use painter's blue tape. Because it is not too sticky and you can take it off easy. I heard someone using medical tape but I have never used that. It's the blue tape in the paint section of your local home depot or any paint store.
But... you fold the ears in half..like side to side.... do you understand? and you tape the ear with the tape. That's really it. I think there was a site that had pictures..... but I know I saw a few treads start about taping ears!
Leave it on for 2 days... take it off. If it is standing... leave it alone till it drops again. You might need to do it a few times.

Are the ears JUMBO? LOL My LungLung has jumbo ears too but it's fully erect!
