Reuger was eating our outside dog's food, which contained corn, instead of his own food. I noticed that he was really biting his paws, very intensely. Well, I took him to the vet for allergies and he was put on medicine for about 2 weeks. Giving Reuger medicine was so funny!! But that's another story! Anyway, we finished the medicine (I didn't notice that it helped much) and then I remembered that they can be allergic to corn. I started keeping the dog food outside where Reuger can't get it. In a couple of days I could tell that he was better and after about 3 weeks he hardly bites at all. So I would definitely check out his food. |
