When i was 16 i use to have pink stands in my hair...and i must admit...so did my Yorkie....it wasnt a dye that stank, or burnt, i used it for years....i dont know why i did it to be honest...but she looked trendy...and i use to put it up in a bow....it never botherd Saphron, she use to love the brush, the bath, and the dry time....i would not do anything that caused a dog to stress....but some people do go over the top....i use to take her to the vet and he never said that it was cruel....he just use to say that she looked diffrent....some yorkies dont like having a bow in....so some people may say thats cruel, as i wear i think it looks nice, but i would not put one in if my dog got stressed out by it....bella hates being combed...to me that is cruel cause she gets so worked up....so i dont really know if it is
