If your yorkie is afraid of the hair dryer try putting cotton in his ears. Start with the dryer on the lowest setting and start as far from his head as possible. Another idea, rig up some type of stand for the dryer so you don't have to hold it and cuddle the puppy in front of it and gradually get closer.
