 My Miracle Pup, Jewel
It was one year ago on Mother's day that Jewel had her first seizure. After several blood tests that all came back negative, we did an MRI and found out she has a neurological infection called Necrotizing Encephelitis or GME. Her neurologist told us we would be very lucky if Jewel would survive for a few days to couple of weeks.
Well, for those of you who is new to Jewel's tale... She is ALIVE and doing well after ONE YEAR!
Her doctors are all amazed as she keep on proving them wrong!
We don't know how long she will be with us but every day is a gift from God.
Life is very fragile and precious. Tell your loved ones you love them. If you are at odds with someone, be the bigger person and try to mend the bridge. If they don't accept, you know you tried. Don't assume you can do this tomorrow, everyday is a gift from God. |
