If the Teacher can't do her job, and the Principal won't back you, I really think it's time for the School Board to know they have a bunch of bullys in their schools. They can, and will put a stop to it. The last thing they want is upset parents with questions they can't answer. We had that same problem here, we pulled all the kids and parents in for a meeting, the kids were told if it didn't stop, they would be sent to a new school. The parents had no idea what was going on, but they did put a stop to it. Teri, sometimes we need to step aside, but sometimes we have to step in. Let your school know, if they don't take care of the problem, you will. I bet they act real fast on it. Hugs to Kevin. | Gina,
Thanks for your comments. I was ON the school board for 6 years, 2 as the President. Disicpline problems are always referred back to the building principal. I told him I'm going to get a lawyer because NJ has an anti-bullying policy and they are in violation. A meeting with the parents is a great idea. I think I'll have a meeting called with all of the parents of involved students. You are right, the parents don't usually know what is going on. Thanks for such a great idea, I will call him tomorrow. |
