What I have found with Dennis, is that he barks only when he is the only dog. For instance I took him to see a breeder friend of mine who has about 10 yorkies running around. Whenever someone came to the door they all barked and Dennis did not. At home he will, so I think for him at least, if someone else is making all the noise he figures he does not have to. He seems to only bark when someone is around his property, never out side even when another dog is barking at him.
At any rate it would be difficult to say if they will bark or not. To many variables to know for sure. I have never had a barker, though Dennis does come close. Most have been talkers, you know those little chirping sound they make. |
