Hi Nikki,
My understanding of the bells is this - the bells are hung on the door that leads to the outside. The pup is trained to ring the bells to indicate a need to go outside to potty. I just did a search on "bells" and there are several other threads that talk about training with bells. I think it sounds like a great idea and I am definitely going to try it when I get "Lily" - in 12 days!!! YAY!!!!
