Dougal's fetcher. but he gets bored after a while the best way to keep his interest is pretending to throw it a lot so he has to guess whether you've thrown it or not

If he feel it's "go get it" time he'll drop the toy at your feet, or in your lap or try to push it into your hand and put on his "puhleeze- play wif meeee!!" face looking rapidly from my face to the toy. Then just in case i didn't get the hint he'll nudge the toy with his nose or pick it up and drop it.
Somehow i managed 2 teach him to drop but ever since we got the evil wee he keeps his nose on the toy until i pick it up cos his lil sis is the kind of evil dog that'll just take it off him cos he looks like he's having too much fun.
