LOL. That is so funny. My mom did that and the house sold, but about 5mos later the market went haywire and she could have gotten 100k more if we waited just a little longer to sell.

the trick is to bury a statue or metal of St. Joseph (the carpenter & Jesus' "father") He is the patron saint of homes. Lots of Catholics do this; it is kind of like a superstition. Bury it near the for sale sign
