After losing two pets in one year, I was very reluctant to get a new one. In the end, I called the breeder to tell her about the loss of my 5-month-old Yorkshire terrier.
She informed me that a new batch of puppies was expected in December of that year. Sure enough, that December I went to see the new puppies.
When Chanel was placed in my arms, it was a done deal. She is now 6 years old and weighs 31/2 pounds.
Chanel is the love of my life. She is paper trained, but she will not go into the bathroom to use the paper if anyone is there. Chanel is the perfect lady and, I might add, has never made a mess in the house.
I am hoping and praying I am able to have Chanel for many years, as my life without her would be very empty.
