Oh Melissa, she is such a little darling! She looks sooooo feminine and cute! We LOVE new babies around here!

Welcome to YorkieTalk! I know you will find lots of help and advice here. Lots of smiles and giggles, too.

Today, before she comes home, you may want to pick up an exercise pen and a crate for your baby, especially if you work and have to leave her alone during the day. Put a nice soft old shirt of yours in it with a nice soft baby blanket. Also, you'll need some pee pads for her to go on inside, since housetraining takes quite a long time, and pee pads make it easier to train. I would ask the breeder what Luna is eating now and get in at least a small supply for her. You may or may not want to change the brand of food, but right at the beginning, when it is traumatic for them to be taken away from mama, it's good to keep them on the same food they were weaned to. At this age they need to be offered a tablespoon for food 4 - 6 times a day. And always have fresh water available. And of course she'll need a few toys.....about 35 toys ought to do it! Just kidding, but that's what Higgins has now......The more little toys they have, the less stuff of YOURS they chew up.

When you have her in your arms.....you won't be able to put her down.
