Yorkies can be very sensitive to their food and their environment. I agree with Mitzi's mom. I'd find a food that has little or no corn in it. That seems to be the high risk ingredient. Mine nearly itched themselves bald while on Royal Canin which has corn in it. they can also be sensitive to cleaning products used on floors. I'd try some benedryl. My vet recommended 1mg per pound of dog. I also tried hydrocortisone spray. helps temporarily, but I wouldn't rely on it. Also try some soothing shampoos like oatmeal. The phisoderm probably works well, too. |
