i think dogs and cats are as much a delicacy in asian countries are as much a stereotype as the stereotype that americans eat nothing but hot dogs and hamburgers for lunch and dinner. (yes, actual question asked of me by my cousins in asia. evidently since i live in the usa, i should be eating nothing but hot dogs, burgers and fries, as well as visit disneyland every weekend especially since i'm in california.)
there may be restaurants in hk that specializes in such delicacies, but i didn't see them on my visit to hk several years ago.
