Don't give in to her, if you do it will only make things harder for you. Stick with crating her, take her out of her crate to go potty, if she doesn't put her back in the crate and try again in 10 to 15 minutes. If she goes, then you can let her roam for awhile. You don't want to give her free run of the house or she may never be trained. As far as bonding, I have noticed that when you crate them they tend to enjoy your company more when they are out of the crate. They will bond with you, crate or no crate. You mentioned that you are getting fencing. Until she is completely housetrained take outside yourself our watch her the entire time that way you know whether or not she went. It takes alot of time and patience, consistency is very important also. |
